BELGIUM - Montagu closes ADB deal
Montagu Private Equity's acquisition of airfield lighting specialist ADB Airfield from Siemens, first reported by unquote" in September this year, has closed.
Based in Brussels and acquired by Siemens in 1987, ADB has been a significant innovative player in the airfield lighting sector since its establishment in 1920. Since then, more than 2,000 airports around the world have been equipped with systems from ADB. The business employs approximately 400 people in around 10 global locations.
Montagu will support the company in its international development and continued investment in R&D, as well as further improving customer service. ADB's new subsidiary in China will be key to this strategy.
