
DENMARK - Napatech receives $5m of expansion capital
Napatech has secured $5m in a round of funding led by Ferd Venture and including Northzone Ventures and DTU Innovation.
'The funding enables us to acquire the adapter business of Xyratex and to react effectively to the demand we experience in the market,' says Henrik Brill Jensen, CEO of Napatech.
Private investor, and formerly co-founder and COO of the Danish public networking company Olicom, Kurt Nybroe-Nielsen will continue as chairman of Napatech. Bjørn Erik Reinseth from Ferd Ventures will join the board. Gregers Kronborg of Northzone Ventures continues on the board as vice chairman.
