UK - Permira exits Britvic
UK buyout house Permira has reportedly exited its 14% stake in listed British soft drink manufacturer Britvic, in a deal valued at approximately ТЃ80m.
It has been reported that UBS is placing Permira's 30 million shares in the company at an average price of 265.5 pence per share.
Permira bought into Britvic back in 2006 at 268 pence per share and was expect to make a full buyout bid, though this never happened.
Shares in Britvic have risen in value by about a quarter in the last three months, but were down 4.5% yesterday morning. Britvic recently reported a 16.3% rise in half-year profits.
