
FRANCE - Neuf Cegetal buys venture-backed Erenis
French telecom business Neuf Cegetal announced today it had agreed to acquire Erenis, a telephony and internet services provider backed by Iris Capital, AGF Private Equity, Credit Agricole Private Equity, Net Partner and CDC.
In March 2006, Iris Capital led a EUR 22.5m third round of funding in the company. In July 2006, CDC invested an additional EUR 4m.
In 2002, Anvar, Neuf Telecom and EDF invested in a EUR 1m seed round in the company. Following their exit, Net Partner injected a EUR 5m in a second round of financing in 2004.
Founded in October 2002, Paris-based Erenis provides telephony services and internet access. Its subscribers are offered high-speed access to online multimedia content, video blogging and remote storage.
