UK - Zeus backs £30m Air Energi MBO
Zeus Private Equity has backed the ТЃ30m management buyout of international recruitment company Air Energi Group.
ZPE invested £10m of equity alongside the management team, led by executive chairman Ian Langley and CEO Duncan Gregson, while Barclays Bank provided working capital facilities.
Manchester-based Air Energi provides contract, project and full time engineers and technical specialists. The company delivers in-country support for a variety of personal circumstances including accomodation, pre-assignment screening, transport, health, work permits, visas and taxation. Founded in 1987, the group employs more than 120 staff and operates from offices in Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, CISy, Australasia and Asia Pacific. Clients include ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips and Shell.
