FRANCE - ERCP makes 40% IRR from sale of H3S Group
Edmond de Rothschild Capital Partners (ERCP) has sold its controlling stake in special-interest free publishing business H3S Group to S3G, a subsidiary of the Sud-Ouest Group.
With budgeted sales of EUR 43m in 2007, H3S has grown its turnover by 80% over the last three years and doubled its EBIT in two years. This performance was the outcome of double-digit organic growth and of an ambitious external growth strategy (including two transactions in France and Switzerland), as well as the launch of new publications (with seven new titles including three in the Slovak and Czech republics, following the creation of local subsidiaries).
