P&G’s Geissler joins Advent as operating partner

In his new role, which will commence on 1 January 2015, Geissler will work with Advent's retail, consumer and leisure team. He will assist the firm in finding investment opportunities as well as supporting portfolio company growth.

Geissler has spent more than 30 years at P&G, where he was most recently vice chairman of global operations, responsible for $80bn in sales and 100,000 employees.

Geissler joined P&G after graduating from the University of Cologne.
