BELGIUM - E-Capital launches E-Capital II
E-Capital has announced the launch of its second fund, E-Capital II, dedicated to the small- and mid-size buyout market.
E-Capital II is open to investments from both private investors and institutional investors. The management currently targets investors from its first fund, which include the European Investment Fund, and the management will make a GP contribution of 1% of the fund’s value.
The fund will aim to invest between EUR 1- 4m in approximately 10-15 companies located in the Benelux region and France. It specifically aims to invest in companies which record a turnover between EUR 5- 50m, or have an enterprise value of between EUR 5-25m. It will consider both majority and influential minority stakes and applies no specific sector focus.
