AXA PE opens Beijing office
AXA Private Equity has opened an office in Beijing, its first in China.
The new base expands the GP's presence in Asia, where it has deployed a total of $1.3bn since the opening of its first Asian office in Singapore in 2005.
Jenhao Han, managing director and head of AXA PE in Asia, will head up the new office and will be supported by a three-strong investment team including Won Ha, Jason Yao and Colin Wang, all of whom were previously at the company's Singapore office.
The GP aims to identify synergies between Asian and European portfolio companies and develop partnerships with investors in the region.
