Marlborough hires two
Debt advisory firm Marlborough Partners has hired Taddeo Vender (pictured) as associate director and David Schulte as analyst.
The news follows swiftly on the back of Marlborough's appointment of former 3i director Markus Ehrler as partner and head of the firm's Frankfurt office.
Vender joins Marlborough following a stint at KKR, where he worked in the firm's capital markets team. Vender was responsible for sourcing leverage and advising on private equity investments in Europe, company refinancings and exits. He was notably involved in the high-yield financing for Kion, a German forklift and warehouse equipment provider. Prior to joining KKR, Vender worked in the leverage finance origination team at Credit Suisse.
Schulte began his career as an intern at both DZ Bank and Doughty Hanson. He then worked as an analyst in the debt advisory and leveraged finance team at Macquarie's London branch.
The two new appointments take the Marlborough team up to 11 professionals. The firm has moved to a new office in Soho, London, to accommodate its larger workforce.
