Pantheon bolsters business development team
Fund of funds investor Pantheon has appointed three new hires to its business development team in Europe and North America.
Ralph Guenther will focus on the DACH region, sourcing deals for Pantheon's secondaries team. He joins from German private equity firm BMP AG.
LJ McKay will focus on business development for the East Coast of the US, based in Pantheon's New York office. He joins from Quadrangle Group and has also worked at Bank of America, Credit Suisse and Chase Securities.
John Greenwood joins as an exclusive independent adviser to lead business development in the Canadian market. He joins from TD Bank Financial Group in Toronto, where he was MD and a co-founder of the $2.7bn fund-of-funds.
Pantheon has also promoted two if its team members to partners: Matt Garfunkle, with Pantheon since 1999, is based in San Francisco while Francesco di Valmarana, with the firm since 2008, is based in the London office.
