SWEDEN - EQT acquires Valeo Engine Cooling

EQT Opportunity has acquired the heavy duty engine cooling division of Valeo, a French automotive group, for an undisclosed value.

The acquired operations comprise some 940 employees in three manufacturing sites in Mjällby and Linköping in Sweden, and Jamestown in the US. The business supplies engine cooling solutions to manufactures of trucks, buses, off-highway equipment and industrial diesel engines. In 2007, the division recorded turnover of EUR 176m.
