Energy Ventures appoints two
Venture capital firm Energy Ventures has appointed Shantanu Agarwal and Kristian Lier to join its oil & gas team.
Agarwal will be based in Aberdeen as an associate, while Lier joins the Houston team as Investment Manager. Agarwal previously worked for Schlumberger and Lier was the former head of DnB Nor Markets' corporate finance group.
Energy Ventures specialises in upstream oil and gas technologies and all employees have a background within the sector. The investor manages NOK 2.33bn of committed capital and is headquartered in Stavanger, Norway.
