UK - Barclays Ventures exits Media Audits Group Ltd

The sale to Accenture’s Marketing Science division generates over a 3x money multiple and an IRR of 35%. Robert Goldsack and Dimitrios Tzililis led the deal for Barclays Ventures.

Barclays Ventures initially invested in a £6.4m BIMBO in April 2001 from 3i and founder management. Robert Goldsack led the original deal. RBS provided the debt.

Since the initial investment in 2001 the business expanded into Italy and the USA, more than doubling profits in the process.
