ITALY - Alcedo acquires office furniture business
Italian mid-cap private equity firm Alcedo has acquired 80% of Faram, a designer and manufacturer of office furniture and partitions.
The company is headquartered in Italy and has operations in the UK, Spain, Holland, France, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Greece, China, and USA. Sales in 2006 amounted to EUR 70m with 87% coming from office furniture and 13% from communities.
