
UK - Exponent acquires Radley handbags from Phoenix in £130m deal
Exponent Private Equity has acquired Radley + Co, the ladies handbag and accessories brand, from Phoenix Private Equity in a ТЃ130m secondary buyout deal. Radley + Coтs revenues are expected to exceed ТЃ60m in the year to end of April 2008 and have increased by an average of nearly 30% for each of the last 5 years. It is anticipated that much of future growth will come from international markets. Founded in 1998, Radley + Co's handbags, luggage and accessories are sold in 500 retail outlets in the UK.
