FINLAND - CapMan exits from Medianorth

Medianorth Group Oy owns city magazines Nöjesguiden in Sweden and Natt & Dag in Norway as well as the LoyaltyNorth unit in Finland focusing on development of customer loyalty programs.

The original investment in Medianorth was made in 1999. The investment in Medianorth has been poor for investors in funds managed by CapMan due above all to the generally high prevailing valuation level at the time of investment. The funds’ holding in Medianorth Group Oy was approximately 35% prior to the exit.
