FRANCE - AXA PE et al. exit B3G in EUR 40m deal
AXA Private Equity, BNP Paribas subsidiary Orkos Capital and Partech International have wholly exited their respective interests in B3G Telecom, an IP Centrex specialist, in a EUR 40m sale to Completel, a corporate telecommunications service business owned by Carlyle, Cinven and Altice.
AXA Private Equity (AXA PE) led an initial EUR 16m first round of funding into B3G in 2006, alongside SCI (part of BNP Paribas) and Partech International. The three investors held a 60% stake in the business.
Completel, alongside Numericable, was the subject of a EUR 1bn buyout in 2008 led by Carlyle alongside Cinven and Altice.
