SPAIN - Catalana d'Iniciatives divests stake in Ritz Hotel
Private equity firm Catalana d'Iniciatives has sold its 34.9% shareholding in Barcelona-based Ritz Hotel.
It is understood that the firm has received EUR 2.45m from the hotel's owners, who will now control 100% of the company's capital. The deal is part of Catalana's new strategy, which will see the exit of portfolio investments worth less than EUR 6m and future acquisitions above that same amount.
