UK - ISIS realises part of its investment in Traveljigsaw through refinancing
ISIS Equity Partners has realised part of its investment in online travel agent Traveljigsaw through a multi-million pound refinancing, which sees Yorkshire Bank more than double the facilities available to the business.
The additional funds provided by the bank's corporate & structured finance team will also provide the company with support for its ongoing expansion.
Manchester-based Traveljigsaw is an online travel agent that specialises in car rentals, offering customers a single source for car hire via an online booking service and a UK-based multi-lingual call centre. The business covers some 90 different destination countries. The company was founded in 2004.
ISIS Equity Partners backed the management buyout of Traveljigsaw in June 2008 The deal value, though undisclosed by ISIS, was reported as £26m. Yorkshire Bank provided an £8m funding package to support the transaction, which provided an exit for the start-up investor David Crossland.
