
Altius appoints senior associates
Funds-of-funds manager Altius Associates has appointed Jeffrey Kopocis and Arnaud Garel-Galais (pictured) as senior associates in its global investment team.
Kopocis will be based in Altius' Richmond office in the US and Garel-Galais will be based in the London office.
Kopocis joins Altius from a multi-family office in Alexandria, US where he was an investment professional and a member of the investment committee. He conducted due diligence on private equity and venture capital funds, and has experience with co-investments. Prior to this Kopocis worked for Cambridge Associates as a senior hedge funds analyst.
Garel-Galais joins from Dahlia Partners, a Natixis private equity subsidiary. He was an investment professional focused on the management of private equity funds of funds and has five years of private equity experience in primary, secondary and co-investment transactions, focusing on investments in France and Europe. Prior to this Garel-Galais held positions at Calyon in Hong Kong.
