Rabo Participaties and the management of Itho Holding B.V. have acquired all of the shares in the company via a secondary management buyout. Rabo Participaties has acquired a majority interest. Alpinvest has sold its interest in the company.

Founded in 1919, Itho specialises in the development, production and sale of energy-saving air-conditioning systems. Approximately 165 employees work at the Itho sites in Schiedam and Etten-Leur. The company designs, produces and sells ventilation systems, extractor hoods, heating and hot water systems, control technology and heat pumps.
