
NL- Bencis acquires Aktiesport and Perri Sport
Bencis Capital Partners has acquired a substantial equity interest in the in the sport retails chains Aktiesport and Perry Sport through Unlimited Sports Group BV (USG).
Immediately following the investment in Aktiesport, USG acquired the sports & outdoor goods retail activities of Perry Sport from its former owner Retail Network. Perry Sport has 41 stores of which one in Belgium and the rest in The Netherlands, all on A1 high street locations.
Aktiesport and Perry Sport complement each other through a differentiating market positioning. Both formulas will continue to be active in the market under their own brand names and will be managed by their current management teams. Bencis supports the management's strategy which is aimed at realising autonomous growth of both retail formulas, while reaping the benefits of the combination and at growing through acquisitions.
