Forbion hires scientific advisers
Forbion Caital Partners has appointed Dr Kapil Dhingra and Prof John Kastelein as scientific investment advisers to its various funds.
Dhingra and Kastelein will be advising on oncology and metabolic disease investment opportunities respectively.
Dhingra, who is a former global leader of the Disease Biology Leadership Team at Roche, is a medical oncologist, physician-scientist and founder of KAPital Consulting.
Kastelein is a professor of medicine at the University of Amsterdam's department of vascular medicine, where he holds the strategic chair of genetics of cardiovascular disease. In 2011 he received a lifetime achievement award from the Dutch Heart Foundation.
