BULGARIA - Advent backs tile maker KAI

KAI will work with the backer to strengthen the management team and tap into nearby markets Romania and Greece. To date the company’s products have fared well in these markets, since they are cheaper than other imports. The company employs over 1000 people, and produces over 14 million square metres of tiles per year at two production facilities. The company also operates a transportation business and a clay mining company.
