UK - LDC acquires Quantum Specials in £32.5m deal
LDC has acquired medicine supplier Quantum Specials in a management buyout valued at ТЃ32.5m.
Quantum produces "special" drug formulations that are not readily available from drug manufacturers and supplies wholesalers, pharmacies, chemists, dispensing doctors, hospitals and veterinary surgeries in the UK. The company employs more than 100 people, and esimates sales revenues of £22m in 2009.
