FRANCE - 3i cedes PriceMinister venture

PriceMinister was founded in 2000 by Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet, Pierre Krings, Justin Ziegler and Olivier Mathiot, PriceMinister as an e-commerce website. The site, launched in January 2001, is dedicated to linking buyers and sellers online and assuring the safety of the transaction for both parties.

3i led a consortium of investors in a EUR 7m second round of financing in the company in 2005. The current divestment is in line with 3i's strategy shift away from venture investments.
