UK - Braveheart announces new appointment to corporate finance team

Braveheart, the venture capital and investment management business, announces today that it has strengthened its corporate finance team with the appointment of Lesley Jardine as technology analyst. Jardine joins from the Scottish Executive and will be responsible for assisting with the investigation and appraisal of the technology of potential investee companies, particularly those emanating from the field of biotechnology and life sciences.

At the Scottish Executive, Jardine was higher scientific officer/technologist at the Innovation Grants Unit, where she was responsible for evaluating the commercial viability of technology based projects. This included reviewing the proposed markets, the exploitation strategies and the financial viability of companies, as well as ensuring that the intellectual property and licensing agreements allowed successful exploitation.
