DENMARK - Polaris sells Dansk Droge to Orkla
Polaris Private Equity has entered into an agreement to sell its shares in Dansk Droge to Orkla. The Sports Nutrition companies SPP in Sweden and Finland are not included in this transaction.
With approximately 297 employees, Dansk Droge manufactures and markets a wide range of health-related consumer products, including the Futura, Gerimax, Livol and Litozin brands. The part of the company that has been taken over recorded operating revenues of around NOK 400m in 2005.
