LITHUANIA - CapMan exits Drobe

CapMan has sold its holding in Lithuanian Drobe Wool Company to Plaza Corporation, a Lithuanian industrial development company.The CapMan funds Finnventure IV and Finnventure V originally invested in Drobe in 2000 along with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and International Finance Corporation (IFC). Since then Drobe has seen a turnover of EUR 21m for 2005.

Drobe produces wool-based worsted woven fabrics for men and women’s accessories and clothing. It is one of the largest textile producers in the Baltic states. CapMan is one of the leading private equity investors in the Nordic region which focuses its investments on various sectors including expansion and later stage technology companies.
