SWEDEN - Axcel acquires LGT from Litorina

LGT was acquired by Litorina in 2005, via its 2001 fund, from DHL. The deal was valued at about SEK 200m and was supported by senior debt package from Kaupthing.

LGT specialises in distribution and storage of furniture. Headquartered in Tibro in Sweden and Horsens in Denmark, the company currently employs approximately 300 people and generated revenues of SEK 700m in 2008. The company operates under the brand names LBC Sweden, Herrljunga Åkeri and Transportsektionen in Sweden and GM-ITM in Denmark.
