GLOBAL - HIG appoints former Apax exec
HIG Capital has appointed Tim Armstrong as managing director.
Armstrong joins the company from Apax, where he continued as partner following the 2005 merger with previous employer Saunders Karp & Megrue, which he joined in 1996. In his new role he will focus on developing HIG’s larger mid-market practise, seeking investment opportunities for the firm's 1.5bn Middle Market Fund.
