NORWAY - Norvestor acquires 70% of RenoNorden

Norvestor V LP has acquired 70% of waste collection company RenoNorden AS for an undisclosed sum. The previous owners and the management retain a 30% stake in the business.

Norvestor’s investment will be use to expand the company into the rest of the Nordics. RenoNorden is a specialist provider of waste collection services, focusing on municipal waste collection. It had turnover of NOK 257m in 2007 and has experienced strong growth of late.
