FRANCE - EdRIP appoints life science partner and recruits three staff
Paris-based Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners (EdRIP) has recruited three additional staff and secured a new venture partnership. Olivier Litzka has been appointed as co-director of the life science team, while Laurent Toutois and Sophie Nordmann join EdRIP’s growth capital team as senior investment manager and investment manager, respectively. The firm also negotiated a partnership with life sciences expert Thierry Hercend.
Tourtois has worked as an associate with strategic due diligence provider LEK Consulting since 2003. He also spent two years in the financial affairs department at Lazard.
Nordmann leaves Sanofi Aventis, where she was employed in the internal audit department. She began her career with KPMG Audit in 2003 in the energy, chemical and pharmacy division.
Hercend, who is appointed as venture partner, previously headed oncological research for Sanofi Aventis. Prior to this he was vice-president of European research for Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Hercend has also worked as scientific director of Laboratoire Français des Biotechnologies.
