ITALY – Venture capital fund for start-up SMEs
Simest has signed an agreement with BNL, part of BNP Paribas, to manage a fund targeting SMEs in the start-up phase wishing to internationalize outside the EU.
Simest will manage the fund, which is the first of its kind in Italy, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Trade. The initial endowment is valued at EUR 4m. Simest will acquire up to 49% stakes per investment for a value up to EUR 200,000 for two to four years.
