FRANCE - Duke Street begins build-up for Proclif
Duke Street Capital's portfolio company Proclif has today announced the acquisition of Clinique Lambert and its subsidiary Clinique La Montagne. This acquisition fits in with the Group’s build-up strategy put in place when Duke Street Capital made its initial investment in Groupe Proclif in September 2005.
Clinique Lambert operates diversified activities in surgery, medicine and obstetrics and, in particular, has an excellent reputation in cancer treatments. Clinique La Montagne specialises in surgery and has a particular expertise in hand surgery. Both companies are situated in Paris.
CMCO (Médico Chirurgical et Obstétrical d’Evry) and PVSG (Polyclinique de Villeneuve-Saint-Georges), Proclif's original two hospitals, are centres of excellence in their respective core activities, especially in surgery (urology, orthopedics, gynecology, digestive, thoracic and vascular) and dialysis.
With four hospitals, Proclif now has over 510 beds available, with an annual turnover of approximately EUR 62m. The Group intends to continue its build-up strategy in the next few years, targeting hospitals in the Paris region as a priority.
Frédéric Chauffier managed the deal at Duke Street Capital. Bernard Lasry is chief executive of Proclif.
