UK - Climate Change Capital backs Climate Energy MBO
Cleantech investor Climate Change Capital Private Equity (CPE) has backed the management buyout of energy efficiency services company Climate Energy for an undisclosed sum.
Essex-based Climate Energy advises homeowners in the public and private sector on how to make buildings more energy efficient and on how to finance these initiatives.
Andrew Holmes, former general manager of the company, has been appointed as the new managing director of Climate Energy.
CPE plans to help the business in continuing to support long term UK targets for energy efficiency in housing stock. The private equity fund also intends to seek opportunities in complementary business areas.
