
BELGIUM - Vendis reaches first closing on EUR 55m
Belgian private equity firm Vendis Capital has raised EUR 55m for first close of its maiden fund.
The vehicle's cornerstone investments have been committed by the Colruyt family and the Colruyt group.
The fund will be managed by Michiel Deturck, Luc Geuten, Cedric Olbrechts and Willem Van Aelten, who were formerly the retail management team of investment management firm Mitiska. Mitiska will channel its future consumer business investments through the new fund.
