FRANCE - European Capital invests EUR 55m in Go Voyages

Groupe Arnault, through its recently established holding Financière Agache Private Equity, acquired around 75% of the company in a deal valuing the entire company at EUR 281m. Management retained a stake of 25-30%. Société Générale underwrote a EUR 75m two-tranche senior debt package. The total leverage represented 8.57x the company’s EBITDA in 2006.

Founded in 1997, Go Voyages markets scheduled airline tickets, charter flights, car rentals, hotel accommodations and packages. Its primary focus is on low-cost scheduled flights.
