UK - PEF board joined by Bonomi and Stathopoulos

Bonomi, has extensive philanthropic experience having founded Invest for Children Foundation, an organisation supporting children with disabilities of which he is currently chairman. He is also a patron of Project Aura which integrates people with special needs into the Spanish job market, and director of the European Venture Philanthropy Association.

Stathopoulos, who joined BC Partners from Apax Partners, is member of the EVCA buyout committee and the Harvard Business School European Leadership Council.

PEF supports charities aiming to empower NEETs; young people not in education, employment or training. The foundation donates funds and provides pro bono support by sharing its members' business skills. Since its inception in 2006, PEF has created a portfolio of 15 charities and secured the backing of over 70 private equity firms and advisers, including banks, law firms, accountancy firms, consultants and search firms.
