FRANCE - Camaieu sold to Cinven
AXA Private Equity will sell its controlling shareholding in clothing brand Camaïeu to Cinven, at a unitary share price of EUR 267. The offer values the target at EUR 1.6bn.
Following the deal, in accordance with market regulations, Cinven will launch a tender offer for the remainder of the shares.
Camaïeu generated sales of EUR 552m in 2006 with an EBIT of EUR 81m.
