NL- Waterland sells Harting-Bank to NPM Capital
Waterland Private Equity Investments has sold its stake in Harting-Bank, a leading Dutch supplier of mobility aids and care provider, to NPM Capital. No financial details have been disclosed.
Waterland acquired Harting-Bank in September 2003 after which it has pursued an acquisitive growth strategy including the acquisitions of Wevri and Orthototaal (both in 2003), Verhoef Revalidatie Techniek (2005) and Ligtvoet (2006). As a result of both this strategy and autonomous growth, revenues have almost doubled: from EUR 43,5m in 2003 to nearly EUR 80m for 2006.
NPM Capital has indicated that it intends to support further acquisitions in order to maximise consolidation potential in the sector.
