FRANCE - Natixis PE and CDC launch Kurma Biofund
Natixis Private Equity has partnered up with Fonds stratégique d'investissement (FSI), via CDC Entreprises, to launch the Kurma Biofund, a fund focuses on investing in life science projects sourced from partnering research institutes Pasteur and Curie.
The new vehicle will complement the InnoBio fund which was launched by the FSI in partnership with major pharmaceuticals and will support companies in more advanced stages in development. It will consider investments of EUR 100,000 and EUR 6m per transaction.
