UK - HMV rejects first Permira offer
The music and bookshop group HMV has rejected a ТЃ762m bid from the Permira, according to a report in The Independent.
It is also reported that Permira has lined up Roger Parry, who runs the UK arm of the US media giant Clear Channel, to run HMV should it win control.
