NORWAY - Norvestor sells Intelecom to Carrot

Norvestor de-listed the business from the Oslo Stock Exchange in December 2008, paying NOK 6 a share in a deal that valued Intelecom at around NOK 173m. Nordea provided a debt package worth in excess of NOK 60m to support the deal.

The Oslo-headquartered company was founded in 1998 as Consorte Tele, before being renamed in 2007 following the completion of several add-on acquisitions, notably that of Intelecom AS. The company provides a ranges of communication services to businesses, including telephony, contact centres and switchboards.
