UK - August strengthens investment team

August Equity has appointed David Lonsdale to its investment team. Lonsdale joins August Equity from British Sky Broadcasting Plc, where he worked in the corporate finance division. During his time at BSkyB, he was responsible for UK transactions across sectors including pay and commercial television and new media, including the acquisition of a 17.9% stake in ITV Plc, and the acquisition of You Me TV Ltd. Prior to working at BSkyB, David worked for ITV Plc as a business development manager, and for KMPG Corporate Finance in the private equity group.
