DENMARK - EQT acquires Cimbria
The EQT Opportunity Fund has agreed to acquire a majority of the shares in the Danish industrial engineering Company Cimbria A/S.
Cimbria was founded in 1947 and is headquartered in Thisted in Denmark. The company has revenues of DKK 1,250m and 900 employees at subsidiaries and branch offices in 20 countries. Cimbria produces machinery and turnkey plants in four business areas: grain and seed processing plants, bulk and waste handling technology, vegetable oil extraction and biodiesel plants, and industrial air cleaning and process ventilation.
