
FINLAND - CapMan strengthens adviser network
CapMan has announced that Jesper Jarlbæk, Dr JT Bergqvist and Esko Mäkeläinen have been invited to join CapMan as industrial advisers as of March 2006.
Jarlbæk is a Danish authorised public accountant and has executive management education from INSEAD and AEP. For almost 30 years, Jarlbæk worked at Arthur Andersen culminating his career there as country managing partner. Jarlbæk has been managing partner of advisory services at Deloitte Denmark since 2002. Currently, he is engaged in several start-up companies as an investor and board member.
Finnish Mäkeläinen has experience in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions within the forest industry sector. He has more than 30 years of experience in the forest industry, among others as CFO of Stora Enso and has been a member of the board of various forest industry and finance companies since 1992.
CapMan introduced the Nordic adviser network concept in the late 1990s when the first senior advisers were appointed. The concept was expanded in 2004 and the first industrial advisers were invited to the network. At the moment, the network comprises five senior advisers and ten industrial advisers.
