
UK - HSBC appoints CEO for Scotland
HSBC Holdings has appointed John Rendall as its new chief executive for Scotland.
Rendall, who has been with HSBC for 22 years, will re-locate to Edinburgh to take up the post, where he will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bank's operations north of the border. He was most recently chief operating officer for HSBC in Mexico, and was previously chief operating officer for commercial banking in the UK from 2004-2007.
