UK - Pentech closes second fund on £45m

The investor base is composed of existing investors, including the European Investment Fund, Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, F&C Private Equity Trust, Souter Investments, and new investors Alliance Trust, Innotech Laminvest and NESTA.

The fund will target investments in the enterprise and telecoms software, internet, mobile and tech media sectors in the UK and Ireland. Earlier this month the vehicle made its first investment: anti-hacking software company Metaforic.
